Farmer
& Irwin Corporation is celebrating their 54th year in the
Mechanical Construction business. Our success is due to our dedicated
and hardworking staff and employees. Farmer & Irwin Corporation
was founded in October 1956 by R.E. "Bob" Farmer &
R.R. "Dick" Irwin and
was built on solid principles, values and strong ethics. This foundation
allows us the opportunity to display our broad range of capabilities,
experience and dedication in serving our client's needs for their H.V.A.C, Plumbing, and Fire Sprinkler systems. Dick Irwin and Bob Farmer began the transition and turnover of the company in 1997 and completed the sale in 2003.

defined by a history of providing its customers with cost
effective mechanical systems, on time to the client's satisfaction.

Labor Affiliations
Farmer
& Irwin Corporation is in partnership with the United Association
and is signatory with Local Union 630 and Local Union 719 Plumbers
and Pipe Fitters. We are also signatory with Local Union 821
Sprinkler Fitters.
This provides us with the skilled mechanics that are required
to perform work on the diverse mechanical systems we install, service,
and retrofit on a daily basis.

What
We Do
|
Because
of our resources, Farmer & Irwin can provide owners,
developers, and general contractors with a full range
of services that result in job cost savings such as negotiated
budgets, design-build projects, proper planning and value
engineering.

Our
physical plant has two shops; a duct fabricating shop,
and a pipe fabricating shop. We will prefabricate many
job components to save us job installation time to keep
us on time or ahead of scheduled completion dates.
|
With
Farmer & Irwin's team concept of operations, wherein
we put together the expertise of our different divisions,
from design through installation, we deliver quality
workmanship that meets all job requirements.
Upon
completion of the job, our Service Division can offer
preventative maintenance programs which will keep those
systems we have installed to continue functioning properly.

Farmer
& Irwin generally maintains a good mix of work in
process with about seventy jobs in progress at various
stages at any one time. Our projects consist of commercial,
institutional, industrial, and multi-family residential
projects.
The
value of work in progress generally runs fifteen to twenty million
dollars, with annual sales in the thirty to forty million
dollar range.
